Personality
Yui is quiet, but by no means shy. She is intensely loyal to her friends and guild and never backs down from a fight. She is independent, so it annoys the crap out of her that her brother is so overprotective of her. She loves to read adventure novels and romantic comedies in her free time. She also loves to write and is currently writing her own adventure novel.

History
Yui was born in x768 to a wealthy heir and the servant girl he fell in love with. Her grand parents were extremely angry to find out, considering they had forced her father to marry the daughter of another wealthy family a few years prior. Yui was only allowed to stay with her father, after he agreed to send her mother away. Yui’s step mother did not like her one bit and decided to do away with the little girl when she about six. Upon discovering his mothers plan, Yui’s step-brother, Hideki, decided to take his sister and run away. Desperate to protect Yui he poured his heart into mastering his magic and teaching it to her. After about two years of laying low the brother, sister duo joined the fairy tail guild.

Yui is terrified of fire and will try to keep as much distance as she can between her and Natsu at all times.
