I decided to do mini comics because I got motivation to make something small.Plus this means you get stuff inbetween big comics.
Done real quick so I couldn't get many details in like Esther's freckles and highlights in their eyes.

That’s considerate of you to do. Honestly, I’m happy with simple character interactions even if they don’t pertain to any particular plot; it means we get more info on how the world as a whole works. (Even if the info comes in little pieces.)

This isn't far from my own idea of Dullahan being what happens when a living being has the abilities of a ghost from Ghostbusters, not simply a ghost assuming a corporeal form but an actual living being.

I had the impression they were some spirit/god of death. That the idea was that they are physical, but supernatural. Maybe not biologically justified, but physical nonetheless.

Yeah, their physiology would be supernatural with ghost-like qualities like becoming incorporeal at will but would have biological functions like heartbeat, pulse, etc with the body being controlled remotely by the head.
Have you ever read the manga "Sorry For My Familiar"? In volumes 3 and 4 the heroes encounter a pair of dog men with such physiology allowing them to become floating heads and even seem to reform their heads when Norman seemingly smashes the heads together.
