Or Moon Legacy.Like OMG it's a picture that I shaded myself, without using the drop shadow in my mother's Paint Shop!
!! 
This took me two days to do. Why? Because first I had to get the lineart done, and the colors and what not, but by the time I got all that done I was so damned tired, then I came back and decided that I didn't like the position of sailor moon so I swtiched it up, then I decided that I didn't like how ANY of them were positioned, so they, I fixed it. Now it's in order from mother to daughter. SO!

Ok now that the name's are out of the way, OMG I'm SO PROUD of myself for this one!
You have no idea how hard this was, because after I shaded the damned thing, Rini decided to be a bitch and totally got blended wrong so I had to redo her shading, her base colors, AND her lineart, then yesterday I so didn't feel good. (damn you gods) so I went to bed way early and laid there just to read...plus I had a Queers Folk marathon with my mother yesterday (yay family bonding) So I wasn't really working on it till today, when I had the energy, so now that I have it, here is my things on Sailor Star Catcher and Neo Sailor Moon:Sailor Star Catcher was concieved BEFORE Rini, in the final season of Sailor Moon Stars, when Seiya was comforting Usagii, but when Mamoru came back she never told Seiya about the baby, or anyone else, so when she began to show she hid it before hiding herself, complaining of all sorts of ailments until she went into labor, and delivered Sailor Star Catcher, aka Selena Kou. Having delivered the baby safely she told Mamoru everything, not wanting to hide it from him, and he accepted the baby girl as his own child, while informing Seiya that he had a daughter (which of course he came to see, taking an excuse to see Usagii). The fireball princess came with and told them that she could feel her planets power in the child and hoped they would all be happy together. Seiya of course moved to Earth to be with his daughter, but when she was 16 he had to move home again and he took her with him to train to be a Starlight.
Neo Sailor Moon:
Koto Was born BEFORE Chibi-Usa and Helios married, when Chibi-Usawas 16 years old, she kinda prompted the wedding to happen about two years sooner then it was supposed to, but King Endymion refused to not have her wed after this. (that and it was all he could do since he couldn't kill Helios for knocking up chibi-Usa).

Btw, did you know that Seiya's first name is actually Kou? All the Starlights share the same first name of 'Kou' but different last names so to differ between them, everyone calls them by their last names (found this out on a Sailor Moon site)

I have a Star Catcher also but she's not related to Seiya. She's one of the Starlights I made as the 'royal court' for my Star Summoner but I've yet to doll her. I know what I want her to look like but I don't know how I want to do her Starlight seifuku.

Well all the 'Neo Starlights' are going to have their own version of the Starlight seifuku. Star Summoner's is more of a dress (since she's not much of a tomboy) and I was thinking maybe my Star Catcher could have one sleeve attached to her top and a sarong over her shorts but I'm leaning towards giving that outfit to my Star Protector.
I have too many Starlight senshi and not enough creativity for their outfits at the moment ^-^;

*giggle* i could help. for as long as i am unmediated, which should be another...few days, i have enough creativity to go around, if you'd like some help ^_^ sometimes it even helps to look at other's creations, sometimes they'll inspire something different then the original design, or sometimes it can inspire pieces to a new design ^^

could you find a link for the lineart? I have searched, but no cigar. And @=KikaiSaigono & SunshineGrrl, line art like the above was made for people like yukieterity and myself. I have no drawling talent and need bases and such for inspiration. this ARTIST needs comments on the art, not your personal opinions

I colored it, I shaded it, I did the effects, so what if the lineart isn't mine, it doesn't mean that I can't do anything else I just don't put my drawings up on here.

Why don't you like them? I would much rather see your work than work drawn by others. Drawings you did yourself come from the heart. OCs are so much more personal when you draw them yourself, from scratch.

because I'm blind in my right eye, and therefore my sense of angles is screwed up, so while I draw the left side perfectly fine, if I try to do the same to the right I end up screwing up and the drawing looks wrong. I'm trying to get past that with my artwork. and while it does make them more personal, it doesn't make them better then when you draw them using someone elses lineart, because you're putting the same amount of time and effort into that drawing as well, the same amount of heart and soul that you put in the drawings you do.

I understand your story, but I'm sorry, it doesn't really give any kind of excuse. I knew a girl in middle school who was deaf by the age of 10, but she still wrote music because it was her favorite thing. A physical obstacle is not an excuse to only color in work that you didn't draw, it should only make you want to work harder. It makes me sad, because I've worked tirelessly on my art for years and years, practicing to get better through legitimate means, and when people say, "I just can't draw because this and this" it makes me upset, you know?
All I'm saying is that from the looks of your gallery, your characters mean a lot to you. So, you should share them with everyone. Not through coloring only, but by practicing your drawings and getting better.

You know what makes me sad? When people come at me and ask me what you did, and ask it just as rudely. I color in artwork by others, yes, that doesn't make me less of an artist. Yes I have that obstacle but I AM WORKING TO OVERCOME IT. I still have problems with it so I will not post my artwork till I feel like I am doing better. In the mean time I work on coloring so that I may perfect my own style of CGing so when I finally DO get my stuff up into my gallery it will be good. I like my stuff, so do other people. Some artists who are like you, who work from scratch, look at my gallery and they like my artwork, the people whose linearts I color love it when I do so because I make them feel important. Now, unless you have something nice to say about my artwork, leave me alone.
