I had a ferret one time, a while ago. An awesome little creature. Ingenious too. Managed to get out of his cage multiple times.
(And jumped on our dog's back--From what I heard, our dog didn't like it!)

My ferret got out of his cage and snuck into my room. This was late on halloween...so, I heard a scritching against the wall...looked over the side of my bed and lo and behold! My ferret was in my room, under my bed.
