No, she hasn't crossed it ..yet. Though.. I just found she has Adrenal Gland Disease. But I need to see how much surgery will be.

You have others options than surgery : Lupron injections or Deslorelin implant with the add of Melatonine liquid. Nahum has had lupron injections for a couple of years until we get the Deslorelin implant from Austria. Nahum passed away because heart illness .
Lil Bear has had also lupron injections for 2 years and now have a Deslorelin implant since 2 years and I am waiting that my vet receive the implants for a new one. Deslorelin implants are out of stock

Un très bel éclairage illumine son beau petit museau blanc .... et le met en valeur par rapport à sa fourrure assez sombre ... c'est très beau ... j'aime beaucoup la photo et l'ambiance qui s'en dégage ... ton petit modèle est bien mignon

We found a full grown male ferret two weeks ago; [link]
He turned up on my door step, after he got in a fight with a cat. My dad and some of his friends were outside at the time and chased the cat away. The ferret ran to the front door and he was picked up by my sisters fiancee, James.
James has always wanted a ferret, so he was eager to take care of him. The owner of Gizmo (they're calling him Gizmo) never called, posted posters or anything, which is sad, I'm sure they miss him
Gizmo is currently living with my sister and James. He is surprisingly very friendly, and very big!
If his owners do come looking for him he will be returned, but he will also be missed! Until then he's staying with my sister and her family. They live next door to us so I can see Gizmo daily, connected, we're a huge family of animal lovers, and Gizmo is just one of so many pets we have.

Did James contact the local animals rescue ? Perhaps the owners didn't put posters or didn't put posters where you lives because the ferret owners are not in the same area, but perhaps they have contacted the local animals rescue.
It is so very sad to lose an animal and it breaks my heart each time I hear about a ferret missing

No, but I have been nagging at him to take Gizmo to the vets for a scan to see if hes been chipped. They've been very busy lately so they don't get enough time to, but I keep reminding them.
They told me in mean time to pop up a few posters in local petshops.

It is a very good idea and local animals shelter will be also a good start for searches
