Here comes the SHSL Baker to rub your tummy and kiss your fears of starvation goodbye for she is always, undoubtedly, prepared to share some pastries, sweets, and of course the occasional meal-on-the-go croissant!
Standard definition of a baker is someone who mixes and bakes ingredients according to recipes to make a variety of treats, such as breads, rolls, cookies, cakes, pies, muffins, and so forth! They are responsible for managing other things as well — such as checking products and goods for quality and identifying damaged or expired goods. Additionally, they’re responsible for packaging, pricing, and merchandising their goods.

Despite being only 13 years old, Dolly is able to showcase her skills in her father's cafe-bakery and incorporates skills she's learned from her mother in her creations!

Dolly is an amicable individual. It is fairly easy to approach her and she delivers a very friendly disposition! Often times, she doesn’t interact with strangers or other students but considering the current predicament, there doesn’t seem to be any choice! Outside, she focuses most of her attention on her father — working with him, baking with him, playing music with him — and although she was approachable in school, she never really made any close friends due to her priorities.
She is very energetic and pumped with vigor — her eyes sparkling as vibrant as her pastries and other baked goods come out.
In other scenarios, you will find Dolly to be very easygoing and unconcerned. It seems her solution to dealing with difficult people or things often result to: ignore them and avoid them. She doesn’t like drama in particular and finds the simplest solution is often the best solution. Since it’s fairly easy to tell if she doesn’t like you or is uncomfortable with you, she doesn’t pull any punches on giving her honest opinion or judgment of other people.

"DOLLY" was an adopted addition to a family of three. A busy, sassy mother, a jolly good father, and a … prideful son. Her addition to the family did not stir any sibling war; her brother, Yuu, was much too concerned with himself to bother over such trivial matters. But nevertheless, he knew his manners when reprimanded by his parents and really, the only ever annoying thing about him was his narcissism.

Her mother was a strong, prideful individual — however, her pride rested more on her talent and her business. She is a famous chocolatier and one of the leading representatives for Meiji Holdings Co. She owns several establishments of her own business across the globe. She has influenced much of Dolly's palette in desserts and has given not only Dolly, but Yuu a couple lessons in the arts as well.

Her father was a dual-wielding man — he harbored a passion for baked goods, cafes, and music! He was a very jolly man, and had a knack for decorating his beard with eccentric variety. He especially liked it when Dolly braided his beard or put some stickers and little toys in his chin's mane. He spent much of his free time (and even his work hours) taking Dolly and baking goods with her! Over the years, she's adapted and grown used to her father's habits — developing good organizational skills, leadership skills, and creativity.

Perhaps the most annoying person Dolly has ever come to know was her brother. One can only stand to be a third wheel in an A-B conversation for so long —even worse if that A-B conversation is more like an A-A conversation. She grew to dismiss and tell off the people who annoy her, not particularly caring for anyone other than the beloved papan! Of course, she cared for her mother as well but she was definitely daddy's little girl.

With her father, it was not only baked goods but also music and conversation as well. She's met quite a few just stepping in his conversations and has been quite a delight with his friends and regulars as well! The customers took quite a liking to her and enjoyed her company in the cafe.

On Fridays and Saturdays late at night, there would be small little concerts with the regulars, family, and friends — a time where Dolly and her father often played instruments together — whether or not Dolly was a master at the instrument itself. As she grew older, she realized she was very fond of brass instruments in particular — not only in sound but also their contribution to mainstream music.

And at some point, she had an abnormally piqued interest for bagpipes and requested for one immediately. Unfortunately, she's no master at it and can only play songs she's practiced a billion times. Any form of freestyle is unavailable.

One fateful Saturday, it was the same regular's night in the cafe — the doors burst open with her mother holding an envelope in her grasp. It was quite a shock, but the following words were even more surprising:

"S-SHE -! INVITATION! HOPE'S! PEAK!'

It took a few seconds to register that this break-in was not because Yuu just died falling into a river after staring at his reflection for too long but RATHER, it was because of Dolly, a mere 13-year-old was invited to go to one of the most prestigious schools known to man!

Everyone was ecstatic, but all of the excitement was lost to Dolly.

Her small footsteps resonated in the empty corridors. Her piggy tails bounced up and down each step she made. Her eyes filled with complimentary colors darted in every direction, curious as to how such a large school could have such empty halls.

Perhaps it was night time. But why would a teacher leave her asleep in a classroom? Maybe they were being irresponsible. Maybe they weren't doing their jobs right. Well, not everyone can be an SHSL Teacher. And no matter how good of a school you are, you could never have an entire faculty by your side.

But none of those kinds of complicated, dramatic thoughts that branched out into more problematic, anxiety-inducing possibilities seeped into her head. This was just another school. Just another building to add to her checklist before she can work again with papan!

… Ah but maybe that kind of thing is different in high school. They had dorms here too, didn't they? Does that mean she has to stay? Buh. She should've denied the invitation then.

But her papan looked so proud! And her maman did too! … And for once, Yuu bothered to rip his gaze off a mirror to see too! It was hard to say no. Papan was so proud to see his little Dolly get into such a prestigious school at such a young age. Well, papan should be proud! I learned from the best anyway!

She hummed to herself and dug into her backpack. She frowned when she realized she didn't have her MP3 player on with her. Poo. She huffed and wore the backpack over her shoulders again and continued her journey.

This school needs more lights.
