Just a short hello from me - after a long-standing inactivity!

This photo was made during a bronze caster´s gathering in the North of Germany, which took place last weekend (plus attached days of castings there), which gave my life a quite new direction : I will become the residing bronze caster of the venue, which is an open air museum for the bronze era - the time in which casting was "invented", the initial spark for all later techniques of casting. As some of you know, I´ve been working in art foundries for quite a bit of time, and though some things caused me never to finish a formal education in this crafts : I never got it out of my mind.

Before I heared about them looking for a new founder, I wasn´t in contact to the topic of bronze age, now it´s quite fascinating me (but you will not get the medieval era and the arts of lord of the rings out of my mind, be sure)!

With quite simple tools and technigues, they made quite beautiful things - it´s amazing
