Gift for my grandmother's 80th birthday.It was a real challenge, as I used little actual reference, only for colors not the actual flowers. So if things look weird, now you know why...
I know that it's far from perfect but she liked it so I'm happy.
Done with watercolor pencils on a Fabriano watercolor postcard.

Ive never tried water colour pencils... how are they?

When dry, they are just like any other color pencil. When wet, I find them easier to control than real watercolors, but harder to make them as saturated and brilliant. I find them very convenient for tiny paintings like this one...
