Meet the new guardians of Kandrakar. Left to right we have the elements: Air (USA), Fire (South Korea), Heart (Svenden), Earth (Australia) and Water (Oceania).

In the background the two guardians and tutors Olivia Tenner and Josephine Lieux are visible. Olivia is Kias older sister and holds the Earth Crystal. Another magical item was entrusted to Josephine (France), the ring of elements. Read more about them in the books.

******Backstory********

Before the great magical war, before the invasion of shadows, long before the falling stars; Earth was a peace.
The mighty guardians of W.I.T.C.H. protected the fortress of Kandrakar from all evil, serving the many worlds of the universe.
Then, after darkness had faded to light, their new mission arose: The Green Ray had left more magic on the planet then expected and more and more magic
born went unattendent. W.I.T.C.H. built a school and educated the few, being in the reach of Heatherfield.
They did not know, that outside of the cities' borders, more and more magical talented were born, causing problems all over the world.
Silently, they grouped together, building organisations and gangs of different interest. Though, while some seeked for the light, others jurned for might and darkness.
With time, both sides grew eager gaining new members, new powers.
Even though their motives were different, their distructive power tore equally as many families apart.

Then the age of oracle Taranee came and the elements chose five young guardians to righten the balance on Earth.
Under the cover of international Star CC Arlin, they travel the world to save the helpless, to strike the evil.
On their way they will find not only learn to trust themselves, but will meet associates and well-known antagonists of the W.I.T.C.H.,
not to mention the guardians themselves.

Now, let the journey begin.
