Description
Sakura, formerly captured by the Akatsuki, held prisoner and tortured, managed to escape in a somewhat surprising course of event. It took all her already weakened state to dash into the forest.
However, Madara who had witnessed her escape, amused by how the pink-haired girl could naively think she could slip from Akatsuki’s surveillance, started to chase after her.
She was caught up and trapped.
In her conscious fatality, she gathered her remaining strength as she resolutely stood her ground facing the Akatsuki leader… only hoping someone would come and save her.
But it was too late.
Exhausted, her body throbbing in pain due to her mad race aggravating her terrible wounds, she collapsed to the ground.
Madara approached to recover the girl but was suddenly stopped by a figure blocking his path.
The growing smirk under Madara’s mask was palpable, the hostile tension blatant.

“How unexpected of you… Itachi.”

Please excuse the mediocrity of my prose to illustrate this drawing.

This drawing was made after asking you dear watchers to give me a few ideas for a new drawing. Needless to say, you inspired me a whole lot!
Including Madara in an ItaSaku based image is a great ingredient to spice up the action.

I did spend more time doing the background on this piece than the characters themselves. I have to say this is the most macabre environment I ever did… and it suits the scene very well I think.

During the whole process of this drawing I listened to Rammstein (“Ich Will” and “Feuer Frei” especially). A sound just too fitting for a forthcoming battle between the two most deadly Uchihas ever.
I don’t understand a freakin’ word of German but I like those songs anyway!

I hope you appreciate the drawing as much as I did while making it and still do now!
