For my 100th deviation here on DA it just had to be an ItaSaku!The title says it all.
Dear Sakura tried to escape at dawn. As follows a small game of hide and seek began (I mean, where would all the fun be otherwise hey?)
Itachi then thought it was finally time to put an end to said game... or so it would seem…
It’s kind of weird because I’m always pleased at first with the lineart I come up with but I quickly get bored when colouring and my lazy self ends up rushing it all up (hence the very messy background). So my opinion is quite divided on this piece but I decided to post it anyway because I know I won’t be able to find the motivation to change/redo anything…

the background is okay, because if it's less detailed a person's eye will be more drawn to the foreground, which is what you want

butreally, the background works for the artwork. i mean, it puts more focus on itachi and sakura and it brings more definition to them, so ithinkitworks.
i love your style of drawing very, very much. it's pretty unique in terms of art, i think.

I think the "messy" background fits very well with the scene it emphasizes the itachi and sakura figures x3, I love it (XD and I'm not a ItaSaku fan)
