Comisión hecha durante la primera mitad del 2018 para Mitos y Leyendas en su edición Kemet, como una carta de frecuencia cortesana, obtenible mediante la compra de sobres de la edición.
Dyamet fue una antigua ciudad monumental del Bajo Egipto, en la rivera este del delta del Nilo en una zona que da orígen al Lago Manzala, fue capital del Antiguo Egipto durante las dinastías XXI y XXIII y fue un importante enclave dada su posición cercana al Mediterráneo y a Medio Oriente.
Durante la época romana (en torno al siglo V EC) la ciudad fue abandonada y hoy en día sólo quedan sus ruinas y monumentos desperdigados por museos de Europa.

Las estructuras se ven bastante bien, y esos jeroglíficos están muy bien detallados. ¡Contemplar tu dibujo es como viajar en el tiempo y observar el antiguo Egipto en todo su esplendor!

Beautiful sky, great texture on the vegetation, and nice angle and design to the temple. The gate in particular, with its richer designs and winged sun-disk, is beautiful.
Fun fact: when Ramesses the Great's name was translitterated from cuneiform letters sent between Egypt and the Hittite Empire, the result was Ri'amasesa Washmuari'a Satipnari'a Mayamana. Useful for learning how an Akkadian (or Hittite)-speaking person would have pronounced the name at the time, and might give us a clue or two for what vowels existed in Egyptian.
