I saw this as your featured deviation and I couldn't help myself from clicking- seriously this is adorable and so well done!
I'm not very good with pixels myself and have very little experience with working with them, but from the objective perspective, you've done an amazing job with the anti-aliasing and choosing colours to illustrate the characters.
I feel like perhaps you could put a few more details into the hands and limbs since a lot of attention was put onto the face, but perhaps it would've been hard to with the limited pixel space.
I hope you try this style again because I feel like you could go far with it and expand on your knowledge base. Thank you for sharing your wonderful art and I hope my critiques were helpful. :')
