I'll be honest: I HATE THE ANIME VOICE! It drives me up the wall and sets my nerves on end! Though I LOVE her Japanese voice it's more suitable for her age range and she's not so snotty in the unbutchered versions that I've seen and I own quite a few SM DVD's that aren't butchered and watered down with nudity scenes cut out though I'm on the hunt for the boxed set of the first season on DVD! Gotta see Day of Destiny the way it was originally shown!

I have some DVD's and I invited a girlfriend over to watch them when I got them by courrier and the first thing out of her mouth was 'We gonna watch the english version huh?' I'm sitting there thinking 'Hell no, not in a million years!' So I said 'No we're gonna watch it in Japanese with English Subtitles! It sounds better and it matches up with the sub-titles! Why would I wanna watch it in english?' I mean they butchered it turning 'Moon Crisis Power MAKE UP! into 'Moon Cosmic Dream Action!' Though to be honest I like Helios's voice both in English and in Japanese! Just Chibi Usa's English Voice drives me up the wall and sets my braced teeth on edge and vibrates the wires and brace brackets! I mean in Dutchess Day Off Usagi's mouth is saying CHI-BI-U-S-A but in the dubbed version she's saying RINI! How? Her lip flap is obviously saying CHI-BI-U-S-A!
