Family | He was born in Icirrus City with a family of four; his mother, who was from the Sinnoh region and a former Pokemon beauty contestant, his father, who was from the Kanto region and a simple business man, and his younger brother, who is 2 years younger than him. He was mostly raised by his mother as his father was always busy with work, making him the most distant out of the others. He grew up helping his mother raise and breed Pokemon along with his younger brother, which eventually got him to aspire to become a Pokemon breeder when he grows up.Past Pokemon | At the age of 8, he used to have a pet Growlithe which he hatched from an egg that was given to him as a birthday gift. However, there was one time where his younger brother injured his Growlithe so bad, he nearly thought that it was going to die as it was weak and limp. The abuse continued even after his younger brother had received many warnings and punishments and in the end, he had to give his Growlithe to a close friend he knew in secret, but he still took his free time to go over to his friend's house to visit the Pokemon. He never knew why his younger brother, who was a playful but polite child, loved to hurt it so much, and up till the present day, even though the Growlithe has evolved and become much stronger, he is still bitter about that incident.Separation | One night, he suddenly heard his parents arguments followed by crashing sounds, which has never happened before and when he went to eavesdrop on what was going on, he heard that his parents were arguing about him and his brother, which made him traumatised and silent for months. After his parents divorced, he followed his mother and travelled to other regions while his brother stayed with his father.Badges | With his mother's help and guidance, he has collected quite a number of gym badges on his journey with Pokemon that the mother and son has caught in the past and has won several competitions, and all those are displayed on a shelf along with his mother's past achievements. She would always pack these items along with her whenever she moves from region to regionLily | As he was travelling, he stumbled across a Rockruff that was heavily injured and a Liepard. Before the larger cat could attack it, he quickly shielded it with his body and ran away with it as quick as he could despite the pain he felt on his back. He managed to escape from the Liepard and stumbled back home with the unconscious puppy in his arms. His mother ended up lecturing him about how he should not have thrown his body just to protect Rockruff, but at the same time, she cannot help but feel proud of the young boy.
He named it Lily as he noticed its fondness for lily flowers. Initially, Lily was much more cautious when it was around Keith, always in a ready position when it sees him trying to approach it. Slowly but surely, it started to gain trust in him and eventually became his best friend and battle partner.
Before it evolved, it ran away from home to the forest, which made him worried sick since it was gone for several days. He ran out despite his mother's warnings and went to look for it in the forest. As he ran, he could feel a presence behind him, and he turned around to see a midnight form Lycanroc leaping towards him, ready to deal a headbutt. However, he saw a blur right after, and soon, two different Lycanrocs fighting each other. After the midday Lycanroc managed to chase the other away, it walked towards the stunned boy and nuzzled its head against him. Keith eventually broke down as he cried and gave it a tight hug after realising that it was Lily.Zorua | Lily brought home the Zorua that it found outside when it was on a walk as it was injured for Keith to take care of, knowing that he will never let a Pokemon stay injured. After the Zorua managed to recover, it started being the largest trouble maker ever. It ran around with mud on its feet, covering the entire place in pawprints and even knocked down vases. Initially, it would also growl at him, or even bite him whenever he approaches it, but he did not mind that at all. It was thanks to his patience and perseverance that Zorua slowly began to calm down and trust its new trainer.Present | Keith settled down at Akala Island with his mother as neighbours of his childhood friend whom he has not seen in a while and managed to achieve his dream of becoming a Pokemon breeder like his mother. He constantly goes out to battle with others and trains his Pokemon whenever he has the free time and even plays with a lot of Pokemon that are in the Paniola Ranch.
