Description
When the real Chell dies, GLaDOS decides to find a way to bring her only friend back to her.This is a collaborative effort between and me. We got inspired by each other.

what if the story is about the clone chell. Β But something is defective with the clone which is why she can't speak. Β But that's what truly helped her to focus and not panic and survive. Β That one difference insured her survival unlike the real chell.

No need, I'm pretty familiar with the theories. I also don't personally believe it's likely, but I do feel like GlaDOS does have a sort of motherly affection for Chell.

actually, I think it is kind of strongly accepted that chell is glados' daughter. It's alluded to several times:
(cara mia, bring your daughter to work day tie in, hints in rattman comic etc.)

There are a lot of fan theories, but for the most part I think it's a slim chance of it actually being true.
The Cara Mia lyrics were ad-libbed by Ellen McLain, and on the package of the potatOS kit, it alludes to Chell's father being an Aperture scientist, meaning she has a parent to cover for bring your daughter to work day. Of course, the timelines for Portal 2 are so wacky no one really knows what's what, but my personal thoughts are that it's unlikely that Chell is her daughter. : )

Well, the great thing about the Portal fandom is that it's pretty open to interpretations. : ) I do at least think that GLaDOS does have motherly (sort of) feelings for Chell, even if they might not be any relation.
