Once upon a time.

Who starts a story with that anymore? Well I guess your story did happen once upon a time. You see it all started with a brave young knight named Dave.

Your name is Lady (Name). You’re a lady in the court of King White the same court as the Knight Dave. Every day you’d stand on your balcony, which over looked the courtyard and watched as Dave practiced his sword fighting. Every afternoon you’d ride through the forest and catch a glimpse of him riding ahead of you. All you really wanted was to say hello but you were just too shy. Not to mention that every lady in the court was in love with the knight. You had no chance what so ever to win him over.

One afternoon while sitting in the garden your friend Jade came up and sat down beside you. “(Name) how was your ride?” She asked. “Oh, it went well” you said staring off into space. “Did you see Dave again?” She asked even though she already knew the answer. “Of course I did. If only I had the courage to ride up to him” you said sighing. “I do believe he’s still at the stable. If we go now you might be able to talk to him” Jade said grabbing your hand and pulling you towards the stables. “W-wait! Jade!”

There he was the brave young knight Dave. His platinum blonde hair stuck to his head with sweat. His clothes clung to him in such a way that his perfect body was visible. He also wore his dark black glasses like always. He was definitely hot. “Go on” Jade whispered into your ear and pushed you into the stable. You stumbled in. Dave turned around and looked right at you. “Hello Lady (Name)” he said with a slight bow. “H-hello Knight Dave” you stutter walking over to your horse, Iliad, and start to stroke his muzzle. “Did you go for a ride already today?” Dave asked coming over to you and Iliad. “Um… Why yes” you said shyly. “I hope you had a nice ride.” You nodded slightly. “Maybe tomorrow you can come out and ride with me” Dave said finishing up with his horse. “O-oh, I’d love that” you said a slight blush forming on your cheeks. “Cool. See you tomorrow.” As soon as he left Jade came out of hiding. “Ooooh! This is going to be very exciting!” You couldn’t help but blush bright red.

The next afternoon you came to the stable in your best riding dress and (h/c) hair braided nicely down your back. “Good afternoon (Name)” Dave said as I stepped into the stable. He was already for the ride making you wonder how long he’d actually been waiting for you. “Good afternoon Dave. I hope you weren’t waiting long” you said looking down at the ground. “Na, I wasn’t here long” he said preparing the last of his bag. You started to saddle up Iliad while Dave just watched you. Once you were done the two of you walked out of the stable. “Do you need any help getting up on your horse (Name)?” Dave asked. “No I can do it my self” you said. You hoisted you self up onto Iliad, sitting sideways like you always did. “You ready to go.” Dave said hoisting himself up.

You rode off through the forest laughing and racing the whole way. It was hard for you to believe that you were actually riding with Dave. It all felt like a dream. Soon enough you were out of the forest and into the open fields. Dave slowed down to a trot while you were still going pretty fast. Suddenly a rather large hawk swooped down in front of you. You pulled back on the reins just narrowly missing the bird. Unfortunately Iliad was spooked and once he was spooked it was very hard to get him to calm back down. “Whoa! Iliad!” You yelled as he started to buck about. “(Name)!” Dave yelled jumping off his horse. “Wahhh!!!” You screamed falling off Iliad. You landed hard on your butt, your right leg folding underneath you. “(Name) are you alright” Dave said coming over to you. “Y-yes… I’m alright” you said as Dave tried to help you up. You yelped in pain as you stepped down on you right foot. Dave lowered you back down to the ground. “I’ll calm down your horse you stay here” Dave said. “His name is Iliad” you told him. He nodded and went over to Iliad, pulling a bright red apple out of his pack first. “Iliad calm down” Dave called to him. “Come here boy I’ve got a nice red apple for you.” Iliad settled down a bit, no longer bucking but still stomping about. “Here you go boy” Dave held out his hand and Iliad ate the apple. Dave stroked his muzzle lovingly. “Nice Iliad. Good boy.” Once Iliad was calm Dave came back over to you. “How’s your ankle (Name)?” Dave asked kneeling down. “It’s still sore” you said wiping the little tears from the corners of your eyes. “It seems like it’s sprained.” He examined your ankle from under the hem of your dress. “Oh… I’m sorry, I’ve ruined your time…” You said playing with your skirt. “No it’s totally fine (Name)” Dave said. He picked you up bridal style and lifted you up on his horse. “Um… T-thank you…” You said blushing a little. “No prob” Dave said getting on behind you, “lets get you back to the castle.” He wrapped his arms around you making sure you didn’t fall off during the ride back. You were blushing the whole ride back. Never had you been this close to Dave before.

The ride back to the stable went by way to fast. Soon enough you had made it back. Dave helped you down from his horse and placed you on a hay bale. “How’s your ankle feeling (Name)?” Dave asked once again. “It’s fine” you said still blushing lightly. Dave looked at you in the eyes slowly bring his face closer to yours. He was centimeters away form you. You were about to ask him what he was doing when you felt a pair of soft lips on your own. Dave was kissing you. His lips tasted just like apples. You felt your face heat up to an unbearable level. Dave pulled away with a blush on his face. “D-dave wha-“ you stuttered. “(Name) I have something to tell you” he said. Dave grabbed your hand and looked you in the eyes. “(Name) I love you.” It was a dream come true. “I love you too Dave.”
