Description I had a bit of energy left, so I decided to draw this while listening to Harry Mack's videos. Here we have one of the deuteragonists of the Worldmender's Saga, Merka.

Here are the facts about her:

1- Merka's full name is 'Merka Tinseed Satinay'. She claims to be 284 years old, measures 5'8" and has pearly-white hair, copper skin and golden eyes. However, her eye color changes to a dark blue during combat or when suffering from intense stress.

2- Her usual weapon is a whip, which she wears either as part of her clothes or around her waist. However, she is not very proficient with the weapon and instead uses a pendulum attached to it to launch the weapon as a projectile. She seems to be more proficient in hand-to-hand combat, and tends to mana-charge her weapons for more damage.

3- Merka can be absent-minded at times, not knowing much about Sherad's locations and people. However, she is very protective of those she cares about and tries her hardest to help.

4- In her early times with the party, she has to remain close to Alex's BASKET, using the translation function to speak properly - as her language is incomprehensible to everyone else. However, she is quick to learn whether it is cooking tricks or new spells.

5- Merka never takes off her headband and wears long outfits that seem to hide specific areas of her body. She is also used to wearing girdles and armor, though favors lighter, more maneuverable outfits.

I wonder if the BASKET can translate the Panto sign.

I always liked Merka's skits where she incorporates stylish outfits, the Fashionista of the group.

Pantomime and sign language, pantosign.

How Defiant communicates.

Well Sign Language is well 'Sign language' it's learned.

Pantomime is a full body kind of sign language that's more expressive and exaggerated.

One requires skill the other requires inquiry.

I've been using the method of people understanding Defiant's gestures and signing due to his being amplified by his remnants of Psionic ability.

Just seeing him is enough to "See what he means."

Not exactly, the remnants of his Psionic powers would be like an auto translation via just one movement.

Psionic isn't like Mana, it's not fueled by an outside source or dries up from usage.

It's the mind, body and soul's will manifested in the users desire.

While he feels like he has Mana the Defiant is actually using Elemental mastery. Which is a mix between anti magic, alchemy and wordless cast.

By anti magic I mean someone at an adept level could undo weave just like breaking down something atom by atom.
