Vent art and school work.my depression is getting the best of me... the raven represents the voice of death...it's crippling. I don't understand why I listen to it either.

Send you my support in time of need, I know that doesn't seem much, but I'm in another part of the world and tough we are indeed alone, we live the same darkness and struggle in our own ways... therefore we aren't in complete solitude.

I was better when I wrote to you but now I feel kind of down, see I was mugged, they took my camera and my bag, inside there were only books... that I bought in Cuba... and my personal drawings and writings...
Beaten up (not to hospital but not good either)and with a gun in my face I thought really into struggling to death... but I was afraid I was not alone and this made me uneasy...
Finally left on the street with out my belonging and other person mugged aswell, when I was being cured (some stiches) someone had this stupid idea "to make me feel better" of saying I should be thankfull it wasn't worst... THANKFULL!! FOR THIS COUNTRY BEING A HELL ON EARTH, THANKFULL THAT THEY BEAT ME UP!!! ...
Sorry I wrote all this, it just made me feel better, hope does not bother you...

you were mugged??? you should have went to the authorities to give them a description so they could catch them!! D: jesus...i'm so sorry man...thats horrible. but still, at least you didn't get shot! I think that's how the other person meant to say, like you and your friend could have both been killed in the process of being mugged. But still, being mugged in the first place is still a horrible experience! where were you? if I may ask? was it in broad daylight? or at night??

..way I see it, depression is caused by society's pressure and values, makes you feel bad about crap that really doesn't matter. I'm not sure what's causing your depression, but maybe analyze the situation from a different perspective? You are the only one who can help you, not happy pills, not therapy, not crap advice--go find some love. You got plenty here for starters

thanks man. Ya it's just been a real rough few months. I had a really bad break up and things just kinda spiraled down. I'm in a better place now, thanks to all of you guys and my friends and family.

Beautiful work blinded. I know there are many things in life that can get us down, and that sometimes the depression can get heavy to the point where we'll buckle under the weight and collapse. Though life presents many problems, it also provides us with more reasons to smile. I really hope you feel better soon

Though I must say the detail and pure emotion in which you have been drawn is truly astounding! Though in future, Mr. Raven, I would go without the dismembered corpse and substitute the chains for a tweed jacket. You would look much more spiffing and certainly a hit with the ladies.
