Holy moly, it's been a while since I've uploaded something here. Let's change that, shall we?
Yeah, I redesigned Flow again! Hooray! This time, I went tried to lean more into the "Shadow the Hedgehog" theme.

In case you didn't know, Flow is a research experiment created over 50 years ago as the "Ultimate Lifeform" in an alternative scenario. In this scenario, Not only Black Doom's DNA was used in the making of the finalized version of "Project Shadow", but also Wisp DNA, meaning Hyper-go-on energy was involved in her creation.

Bio

In this different timeline, the help from the leader of the Black Arms was never considered by Gerald Robotnik himself when working in the project, as he had discovered another type of extraterrestrial beings first, way before the Black Comet. After studying those otherworldly entities, he discovered that they can produce some sort of massive and powerful energy source called "Hyper-go-on". Fascinated with this discovery, he and his team attempted to use some of those alien creatures to create a more advanced version of the prototype of the Ultimate Lifeform. But things did not go as planned, as a creature created with Hyper-go-on energy was proven to not be possible time and time again, as the energy couldn't sustain a stable lifeform.

During development, the Black Comet was discovered. A comet that passed the earth every 50 or so years. "Home" of the Black Arms. Gerald had a theory that a DNA sample from the monstrous creatures that inhabited the comet could potentially counter the effects of the Wisp energy used, meaning a stable lifeform could be fully developed, if there was some way to hold the Hyper-go-on back from overtaking the proccess.

As such, he made contact with the comet. With Black Doom's blood now entering the mix, Project Shadow finally came into being in a form of a female tenrec. However, despite being considered "stable", the hybrid entity was nowhere near that, as said hybrid's body could continuously produce Hyper-go-on energy, which could lead the project into some detrimental results (such as the death of the entity, caused from the overdosing amounts of energy produced). With this in mind, two special ring-like gems were created to prevent any catastrophes to happen to the small tenrec. These gems were titled "Hyper-go Gems", and they not only suppress the Wisp energy, but they also allow the user to tap into said energy "safely" (extended use of the Wisp energy from the gems can cause extreme fatigue and, in worse cases, a complete white out).

And so, after years of work and research, Project Shadow was finally completed.

Info

Being created mainly from Wisp DNA, Flow's color scheme takes inspiration from the progenitor of the entire Wisp race, Mother Wisp, but instead of her fur being a vibrant color, it takes a duller and darkned coloration due to the influence of Black Doom's DNA. The name "Flow" came from Gerald's granddaughter Maria, who named the little tenrec girl after her speed. As she described her to be "Flowing in the wind", thanks to her speed (which mainly comes from the Hyper-go-on energy).

Personality

Flow is a serious tenrec with a calm, sharp-witted and slightly competitive personality, but still managing to be extremely soft and kind when she wants. She is mostly a loner by choice, but she won't leave anyone who's in need of some company behind. Flow is fully aware of her potential and title of "the Ultimate Lifeform", but she doesn't brag about it... unless she's feeling extremely cocky.

At the face of danger, Flow is mostly straight to the point and arrogant when it comes to ways to deal with said danger, but she's no fool. The little tenrec always tries to be mindful about the correct way of dealing with things.

Trivia

When Flow is using her powers, her eyes, the Hyper-go Gems and her overall green lighting change colors and glow depending on what type of power she is using:
Red: Chaos Burst (Chaos Blast replacement. Works just like the original counterpart, but a lot more flamable.);
Blue: Chaos Control;
Yellow: Chaos Dril (Chaos Spear replacement. Turns her hands into drills made from pure energy that can be launched at a target.);
Green: Skating with the Hover Shoes (default);
Flow used to have a child like mentality 50+ years ago (back at the space colony ARK) and was extremely naive and cheerful;
When she was forcefully sent to Earth through the escape pod, Flow nearly got herself killed trying to break free by pushing the Hyper-go Gems capabilities to their absolute limit.
