i'm really quite happy with the outcome of this sketch. It was planned long time ago when i didn't even know how to draw mechs and i always wanted to draw one since the time when i saw an artwork of Mazinger vs Getter robo. That was what influenced me to come out with a Mazinkaiser vs Shin Getter fanarthe he... lets see...

kind of a match duncha think so?... ^^
alright... i need help here. I can't seem to find a good pose for Shin Getter. any ideas?... should the tomahawk be behind the leg or in front of the leg?.... I tried to make his leg go straight but it looks like Shin Getter kicked Kaiser in the butt so.. that wasn't a good idea... so what i did here was the best i can do for his leg. Dun comment on their designs.. because Shin Getter and Mazinkaiser went thru lots of designing. In the Anime, the design is different and the models have different designs too. i just took which one looks cooler and fix them up.
this illustration did not involved any models. I wish i have one of those but i can't afford it.

It's hard to say who would win. Since both can exceed Gods & concur Devils. They do make a great team in the Super Robot Wars games. I love the Double Dynamic Impact! I just wish the Final Dynamic Special for these 2 wasn't so.... unimpressive. It's just them using they're beam attacks. This is what I would do. Shin Getter deploys Getter Tomahawk then flies ahead, Kaiser used Fire Blaster & makes a direct hit, Shin Getter slashes at the enemy twice, Kaiser fires Turbo Smasher Punch & again makes direct hit, Shin Getter used Tomahawk Lancer, then Kaizer deploys Final Kaiser Blade & strikes twice, & Shin Getter finishes it off with the Stoner Sunshine! The enemy explodes & Shin Getter & Kaiser shake hands in front of it like the bosses they are!

Yes, Yes Yes! This NEEDS to happen. They already did it with the original Getter Robo and Great Mazinger, so why not? Thank you for capturing this dream for many! Awesome stuff, you got both right down to the smallest detail!

I'm not sure what to improve on this piece, but in any case try adding more energy to their actions. Also, suggest more that they are clashing, rather than looking at each other~

How 'bout puttin' the tomahawk behind the leg? A pose? How 'bout putting his right foot closest to the screen, planted on the ground, and his left foot furthest from the screen, planted on the ground, and pivot his chest to make it look like he turned in the other dude's direction?

GaoGaiGar...a great robot anime...got the whole series ^_^. The two I'm talking about are called AnRyu aka Dark Dragon and her sister KouRyu aka Light Dragon and they combine to make TenRyuJin (no idea how to translat that...roughly means Heaven or Sky Dragon...something...))

I say...go for Minerva X...she alwasy was my fav lol. Also lil known fact...well to all but Mazinger fans...all the female robots (save for Minerva) well....thier breasts were Missiles. Yes...you read right...MISSILES....wierd huh?lol
The A and X thing...honestly I have no clue...I think it just makes them sound cool lol. The original ones had the same A and X's so its not the models...
