Robin from Fisheye Placebo looking melancholic in the city night. I wanted her eyes to resemble the fisheye lens of her camera. Many people think photography objectively captures reality, but that couldn't further from the truth. A photographer can only capture the reality he/she chooses to see through. The types of lenses used, what's included vs excluded in the photo, camera settings, and countless other things can alter the feeling a photo gives off, and thus reinterpreting the reality seen through the lens.

I love your concept and the symbolism of the eyes matching the lens.

I love your play of light and color. The effects you've pulled off throughout the whole picture sets the tone and mood very well! I especially love how you managed to pull off array of color and depth in the eyes and mimicked it into the lens of the camera. I love this picture!

This is so luminous, so colorful... beautiful ! Sorry, I've not many words, I can't explain how your art makes me feel and I'm not as fluent in english as I should to be able to explain correctly what it's all about. But in my language : "C'est magnifique au-delΓ des mots et cela me fait ressentir beaucoup de belles Γ©motions". Thank you ! And sorry for my english, realy...Β

You're absolutely right about photography, and this picture shows that nicely, but even without that meaning, it already looks amazing.

It's her character from her comics Fisheye Placebo, named Robin (just look at the description). You can find her comics in her gallery.

YAY more Robin~! Haven't seen Fisheye Placebo in a while. This is such a powerful picture. Your description made her character a little deeper and let us know more about her. I'd love to see that incorporated in her character development in the comic.Β

The picture is so wonderful and what you say is too true. Every art work whether simple or complex, well drawn or not, stories or poetry all have the same thing in mind. The artist point of view. It's how they see the world and it's glory and are free to express it. Well done my friend well done
