Robin from Fisheye Placebo looking melancholic in the city night. I wanted her eyes to resemble the fisheye lens of her camera. Many people think photography objectively captures reality, but that couldn't further from the truth. A photographer can only capture the reality he/she chooses to see through. The types of lenses used, what's included vs excluded in the photo, camera settings, and countless other things can alter the feeling a photo gives off, and thus reinterpreting the reality seen through the lens.

Beautiful work as always and an equally beautiful statement. I hope life gives you some time to work on Fisheye again soon, one of my favorite web "comics" by far.

I love it! The colour and lighting on the lens is phenomenal and I can really feel the emotion in her eyes.
It reminds me of the artwork on the covers of the Tokyo Ghoul mangas (which I also love)
Keep doing this amazing work it is great to see!

Us photographers see through the lens as another world of beauty and passion, (as what I have believed and heard as the truth.) It captures the moment of time. Anyway, I love your art work :') This just stuns me how amazing art, can show so much beauty through a monitor screen
keep it up. <3

I like the way you said a photographer captures only the reality he or she chooses to see - I think that's a very profound statement and this is a very profound piece of artwork. Its bright and yet mysterious.

Very true, the same with press, it's what photographer wants, observes, or edits I see.

We actually once did a project about how what is in a photo can be altered without modifying the actual photo when I was in school.
