I like how you get so defensive when I talked about your ship, while you did the same thing to other ship. I was just testing what kind of shippers are you, so far the result has been interesting.
My "exucuse" is simple: I ship rarijack and I see better potential in Spike as a character.

I consider myself a normal shipper who's pro Sparity, but will defend it when necessary. Most namely when people make the "he's a baby dragon" or "Rarity had her chance" excuses. That shit is getting real old. People simply not caring for it, I don't mind.

I see potential in Spike as a character, and think he's been somewhat developed in recent seasons, and think there's potential to be had in Sparity too. Along with retaining his crush for all this time, it also seems like he's also grown to like her for who she is, to at least some extent. So I think it's more about exploring the ship itself, even if it means having Spike grow a bit more first. I've actually read some pretty good fics about it.

I never think being a baby dragon is a problem, characters grow up, Spike would be no exception, even though Rarity falling in love with current Spike would be a bit weird.
My problem, or more like a question, would be Hasbro's tendency to make Spike and Rarity more towards just friends. I doubt Spike is fully over with the crush on Rarity, but it just seems to be getting less and less. However, Spike still does care about Rarity as a friend.
I don't like EmberSpike that much, but either do I have reason to hate it. Rarity's reaction at the end of the episode was not jealousy, but happiness, I bet she would be extremely happy if Spike can have his happiness, unlike lots of Spairty artists have been portraying.
