As one of, if not, the best cellists in Equestria, Octavia has been playing in Luna's place during Luna's night duty for the past months.

As a princess who used to be a huge music fan, but was banished for a thousand years, Luna has a lot to catch up, and that includes music. That's why, for now, she has a strong preference for classic music.

Octavia is of course more than thrilled to accept this invitation. Being a highly skilled and knowledgeable cellist, she could never imagine talking with a pony who met with those great musicians in history, also a princess. Octavia can almost play any music piece that's requested by Luna, sometimes Luna might ask for a piece that has been lost in history, but with a little humming, Octavia can still improvise it into a complete piece. In return, Luna would tell Octavia everything about those composers.
