a design based of this song.

I had some ideas for spooky adopt designs that I wanted to get out, but was too busy to.

I imagine they're a spirit roaming a big abandoned manor, looking for other souls to befriend. They want to leave, but they're stuck there for some reason. As if something is chaining them to the property.
They have a locket around their neck from when they were still alive. Story goes that this particular spirit was about to be wedded, but before their big day, they were struck by sickness which quickly took their life. The spirit has been left there since, yearning to return to their family and partner in the after life. But it seems like they have unfinished business in the land of the living. The spirit has watched generation after generation go by in the manor until it was abandoned.

After decades of solitude, their loneliness was interrupted by the sudden change to the manor. The manor is now a school, and also houses orphaned children. The spirit now watches over the children as if they were their own, and would sometimes haunt the caretakers of the orphanage that weren't so kind to the children. It is said that the children that were blessed with sight can see and communicate with the spirit. At times they tend to see the spirit with tears in their eyes as they look out of the window into the distant. Perhaps wishing to join the after-life. The children there do not fear the darkness, for they always have the comforting light of the spirit to accompany their slumber.

I'll start clean up and coloring after I received the payment!!
Kinda like these adopts:

I was going to add an expression bust to this (like I'd do the others), but wasn't sure what expression to give. The client that purchases this design is free to request two expressions of their liking!!
Colors will be: Muted blues, whites and a splash of turquoise for the flames.
