Kintsugi also known as Kintsukuroi is the Japanese art of repairing/mending broken pottery with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum, a method similar to the maki-e technique. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise. In a way, it gives the pottery more value.

In a symbolic way, Kintsugi represent the healing of scars and a growth of a person. Because as a person, you might break down into pieces. As time goes, slowly but surely your scars will mending and you will come out a stronger better person. -Yuyu
