edited for the print. i removed the noise, changed the photo on the right for another one and adjusted the colors.350d + tamron 90mm.

Bubbly, I'm thinking. Oil and water? Food coloring? No matter, it makes a neat photograph. Maybe something you put on your wall just to make people ask questions. Conversation piece, that's what it is called . . . I think.
The choice for two frames works well, for my view of it. I've seen this, and other multi frames . . . I think it works better with abstract pieces. If you ever run out of interesting things to take pictures of, you can always visit my new area. Our house was encased in several inches of ice. That made for some interesting shots. ^_^;
. . . well, once we could actually open our doors. o.O; I do think you'd have liked the park though, and I didn't have my camera to capture this. The trees also became encased in ice, and as it finally started to warm, it started peeling away, and then it froze again . . . so there were frosted white trees, with frosted ice pealing away like sharp claws and fingers. It melted before I was able to go back out there to take pictures.

yeah i was just checking those ice forms. they would also make a great abstract image for sure. would love to take a few shots against the sun, then you get this extra glow (like in my shitty new avatar). anyway, this must have been quite amazing-that tree. it sounds crazy.

I imagine you would have taken those shots much better than I, though, for what I can remember the sun was behind a blanket of swirling gray clouds . . . sometimes the entire cover of clouds, which was for as long as you could see, would light up with the glow of the sun from behind. Made this great pure white glow. Like, the sky white white instead of blue.
Though, if I think about it, the sky . . . is more the absence of any color just . . . . maybe it's better not to think about what the sky really is. ^_^;
