Lovely capture, nice vibrant colours. I find the lighting in the background a bit harsh though. Maybe more muted colours would look nice, like turning down the saturation so it's only a little coloured. Sadly, the picture doesn't have much of an impact on me. There's nothing particularly great about it in terms of technique or originality. It's pretty and a great shot, but it doesn't really inspire the viewer. This just doesn't quite do justice to the beautiful lorikeet. It's great you could get that close to the bird to get a photo, it must be used to people to not fly away when it saw you. As I said before, turn down the saturation and it would look a lot better. Don't be afraid to try new things with the effects and remember that colour doesn't always make it great.

no worries. don't be afraid to experiment with b/w effects or sepia tones, it would look amazing

This is a really nice picture! It is so bright and colourful! I like how the background has been blurred out so the focus is on the rainbow lorikeet. I also think it is cute how the rainbow lorikeet is sitting on the branch. xD
The one thing I don't like about the picture is the white light coming out from behind the leaves. It is a little bit distracting, maybe next time you should try to get in a position where the light isn't as strong.
This is such a lovely photo, keep up the great work! xD
