Anyway this is a Rune dragon, a Slayer Mob in Runescape.
I think i'm getting better with photoshop. I'm for sure improving.

How many layers did you use when you started painting, if you don't mind me asking?

this one was all done on one layer
I tend to keep objects separate from the background or if there's something like a wing or leg that is behind the main mass of the body i do that on a separate layer often

THIS IS GORGEOUS! the turquoise scales are just - clawsome. Ooh, I invented a word, clawsome? XD Anyway, looks very nice, with the shading and toning. Love it.
