During high school; Chizu was blamed for a school prank that she had no clue of, no one believed that she didn't do it and became lonely at school, when she was trying to solve the case of the prank; she was on step ladder standing by the wall when suddenly she falls of the ladder but she some how is able to hang on the walls with her hands and she sees a humanoid creature by her. Chizu asks the creature who it is and it tells her that she's her Stand and helps her get down safely, days later: Chizu was able to get the hang of her stand's ability and names it Hang 'Em.
