Finally managed to combine and finalize all the character concepts I've been doing.Did a simple animation for each one, click each one to see more info about the character. Β
Lemme know if you guys have anymore comments, ideas, suggestions, etc. Β
Thanks everyone for giving me input on all the character designs so far, they're way better than my original designs XD

Going to focus on the 3d side of them all now
Oh and thanks to for the title idea, thought it was the most catchy and generally described the game pretty easy XD

All of these characters look magnificent, while also retaining their familiar appearance from the board game! Their abilities and movements also seem great as well and because it seems to be a multiplayer game there's bound to be some chaos similar to a real war! Let the war begin and continue til the Kings blood runs dry!! Good luck, unlike your other games this seems to be in a 3D shooter while the others are 2D platforming shooters. Hope you can design these guys as good as this in 3D!! Well good luck on your progress!

I... I love you. I've been doing Chess sprite concepts, I had some ideas to... Equip the pieces, and you just... Wow. And there I intended to equip my Pawn robots with Daggers. Heh. Completely outclassed by Gallade-style freakin' Crescent blades.
Anyways.
Being a chess player, I especially like how you used the pieces' actual special move as their special attacks, such as the Castle for the Rook or the En Passant for the pawn. This would be an awesome grid, Disgaea-esque rpg to play, especially with such design quality. I'm in love with this, seriously.
Do I need to say you have talent? Nah, you probably know that already. Just keep it up.

Ahh the irony. Sorry, I've recently seen the latest episode of Game of Thrones and if you know anything about it you'll get what I mean. On another note, the chess characters look amazing.

You ask for critique yet you know i cant give you any new. I have had a pleasent time watching your ideas takeΒ form and spring to live. i feel like i have been able to tweak it a little bit, come with my own imput, my own touch if you will. Yet i also know it not just me, it is everybody here on deviant-art who have had influence on this project. i know, that this is not the end, that this is merely the start of a new chapter, yet when i see this, i look at all the final peices and i cant help but be excited for what comes next. I wish you the best of luck with "Kill the king" and i cant wait to see what you create next. Best wishes - Muted
