So, I saw things about Good vs. Bad OCs, on the twitters today, and I kinda may have seen it as a little bit of a challenge to use some of the tropes that are usually associated with bad OCs. In this case, a Black, White, and Red Alicorn OC.I think she actually turned out kinda cool, despite accidentally making her mane and tail look very similar to another OC I've done... woopsie...
So, good or bad? That's up to you guys.
Oh, and I shouldn't forget her tragic backstory!
Ruby is the daughter of a poor family, her Unicorn father, and Pegasus mother. Her mother died when Ruby was born so she never met her. Ruby's father tried to make a living for them on their farm the best he could, but with only the two of them, they struggled to make the money they needed for the food scraps they lived on. On her 16th birthday, thug-like ponies broke into her home, demanding the money they were owed. Unsatisfied with Ruby's father's pleas for more time, they beat Ruby in front of her father, then made Ruby watch as they slowly killed her father. It was at this point, her Alicorn magic had a sudden burst of energy, disintegrating the thugs, and turning them to ash, but also setting the home ablaze. With no home, and no family, Ruby set off on her own, to find where she belongs in the world...
She's also a blank flank because I'm too lazy to make a Cutie Mark, plus I should have been in bed 2 hours ago, but I made this horse instead...
Oh, and her name is 2 shades of red.

I say it's a kind of syndrome, even in the show there are some non royal alicorn.

Totally didn't see the alicorn aspect until it was mentioned in the description. But your vector-style work makes me feel like it would work in the show sans alicorn bit. Hopefully no ones sees this taking this seriously, but given the internet, let's just hope the reaction isn't too adverse.

Well, the backstory is not edgy per se. It has the start of an edge, but it would require an edgy personality to go along with it.
Black and red are colors that just work together. Here, the most jarring thing is her mane color.
Oh, and she is an alicorn.
It is on the middle point. Ignoring the fact that alicorns are very restricted, you could either make a terrible edgy character out of her, or something decent.

The shade of red on the mane could be a little more easy on the eyes but in overall pretty nice design.
You didn't use 100% black on the coat color so that's a plus, and you gave the mane a little accent with the white in it.
