Abilities:

Athleticism- Sentinel's body was designed for speed and overall mobility, and as such, he has the ability to perform acrobatic movements with ease.

Optical Camouflage- Sentinel's scales can redirect light to reflect the environment around him, rendering him nearly invisible at will.

Chemical Projection- Near the base of his throat is a pair of glands that can shoot concentrated jets of hydrofluoric acid from his mouth.

Intelligence- While intelligent kaiju most certainly exist, Sentinel is a league above others. All studies of Sentinel indicate his level of intelligence is on par with that of a ten year old child.

Weaknesses:

Size- Despite being incredibly quick and deadly in close combat, Sentinel's relatively small size compared to other kaiju is in fact a detriment. Enough force from another kaiju's attack could be enough to put him out of commission for good.

Lack of Bodily Defenses- The extraterrestrials that designed Sentinel did so with the intent of creating a purely offensive creature that could move faster than and out think its opponents. Unfortunately, this has left Sentinel with out much in the way of defenses such as armored plates or spines.

Partial Exothermic Regulation - Sentinel gains the vast majority of his energy in the form of food, but as a reptile, relies on an enormous quantity of external heat in order to warm his blood flow. When not patrolling his territory, he is often seen napping in order to use sunlight to help him regulate his body temperature. It is during these times he is particularly vulnerable to attack.

Half of Boston glowed with the flames of destruction brought about by the Saska's bio-weapon, Ares. The tripodal creature had cut a swath of death and chaos with its plasma beam and caustic dust. The full might of the US Military could not stave off the spidery creature's attack on one of the country's most historic cities, and as Ares laid waste to Fenway Park, the government had ordered troops to withdraw from their assault. A debate was occurring among America's politicians; one that would surely mean the absolute obliteration of Ares...but also the city itself and the millions of people trapped by the creature's onslaught. For the first time since the San Francisco, the world had to watch as an unknown giant creature laid waste to a city.

Thousands of people ran for their lives as Ares turned its attention to them, its sinewy tentacles outstretched and writhing. It grabbed at the hapless victims, snaring as many as it could, stuffing them into its gaping maw, fork-like teeth shredding them to bits like an enormous living wood-chipper. Its mouth-plates opened and a triumphant, high pitched shriek rang out with an alien reverberation echoing off what ever buildings were left. A clap of thunder followed as rain began to batter the city. Ares had won. Mankind would have no choice but to destroy the creature with their most powerful weapon.

With a sudden lurch, Ares began making his way northward, grabbing what ever straggler he came across.

Unbeknownst to the alien monstrosity, it was being watched. A blur of motion here, a shimmer in the rain there; Ares had no idea what was about to hit it. With a sudden stop, the creature yowled in pain as it swatted its tentacles at the air around it, seemingly suffering from some kind of spastic attack. But when the beast apparently grabbed a hold of something and tossed it into the cityscape, the citizens of Boston were aghast to see another giant creature flip itself around to land right side up on a building's roof. There was no longer a need to hide for this new creature, he had found his quarry and despite their size difference, this fight would not end in Ares' favor. The reptilian creature jumped to the ground and issued a challenge to Ares in the form of a roar and slicing at the street with its massive finger claws. Ares in turn, opened its mouth plate, readying the charge of super-heated plasma to lay waste to its foe. Before it could unleash its deadly attack, this scaled Sentinel bounded forward, distracting Ares just long enough for it to cease its plasma blast. Using his tail, he grabbed hold of Ares' left leg and with a massive jerk, toppled the creature to the ground. Wasting no time, Sentinel leaped on to Are's mid section, using his fore-claws to climb the alien tripod's armor. With each pull forward, Sentinel's blades sunk in between Are's armor, ripping into it's tender flesh, releasing gallons of bright yellow blood until Ares righted itself. Deftly avoiding its tentacles, Sentinel began prying the plates off of Ares back, tossing them aside with his teeth. When Are's armor had been broken sufficiently, Sentinel sliced at the sinewy meat underneath viciously, and with a final slash reeled back and began shooting a noxious liquid from his throat into the wound. A crackle could be heard as the concentrated jet of hydrofluoric acid melted its way through Ares until, finally, it sprayed out of the invader's neck. With a final squealing, pathetic shriek, Ares fell dead. Sentinel jumped from the body and landed on all fours, stamping his knuckles on the ground, roaring in a victorious din that sounded to the people of Boston like a trumpet heralding their salvation. A moment passed, Sentinel looked at the sky, the rain cleansing his body of the sticky yellow ichor. Witnesses say, though its not confirmed, a little boy and his older sister cautiously walked up to the reptilian beast and placed their hands on his back foot. Sentinel was said to look down at them and chuff quietly as he began walking Northward. Sentinel had made his presence and more importantly, his intentions, known to the people of Earth.
