I think they're meant to represent Light and Darkness. I hope they give us enough lore for them, as they have their own temple (maybe there's also a galarian Regigigas making regis out of "energy"?)

Dragon and electric imo - I like how Regi...Dragon(?) has two nozzles for feet to likely spew dragon breath or other beams etc

Good job on the art, it's certainly interesting seeing the red one turned sideways, I wonder if that's something it might actually do with certain attacks o:
