Really great details here and clear presentation of the path/danger of the cavern. I do think the left side should have a lighter value applied to separate it from the extreme foreground as well as just giving the whole piece more visual interest and consistency. Also a little polish tip: throwing down a faint color dodge layer here or there can assist in some dramatic lighting. Another tip is to add a bit of action to the scene. It doesn't have to be the focal point, and it looks like you had this idea with the rocks falling in the upper right, but you could milk it more. Add some motion blur to them, make a little puddle with ripples of water somewhere, or a cloud of steam misting around the characters feet to draw attention.
