Thomas was ill and needed repairs at the Crovan's Gate Steamworks. Ash was ill too and needed to rest at the house he and Serena reside by Knapford. When Serena and Emily came across each other, they had a plan to cross-dress with their boyfriends. So Serena wore Ash's clothes, and Emily was at the engine works near the big station to be rid of her tender, and become an E2 Class Tank Engine. As it turns out, after Emily was repainted, the blue color was darker than normal. Emily was also fitted with generic extra lamps that were shiny because of the sun on a very bright clear day. When Serena and Emily came back to reveal their looks, they were off to fight the guitar guy with his Pikachu, riding Gordon the Big Engine. Could Serena and Emily win? Few people could doubt it.
