welp finally we get to see Benjamin take part in one of the battles of the Civil War. however i did my research on this one XD, but i spiced it for the story lol. so yeah. hope you guys enjoy.

(Early hours of Oct 25th)

Benjamin was up a little early, because he was bracing himself for what was about to happen. He went over to his hideouts bunks where most of the gang members were sleeping. Woke up those in a ready condition. "Morning lads, it's time we made our way to the hill. Follow". They began making their way to the battlefield, while some drank a bottle of whiskey. "Want some boss? This actually a pretty good brand here" one of the members say. Benjamin took the bottle and took a gulp down. "Eh, I've tasted better whiskey than this". Shrugs and gives the bottle back to the member.

They were just next to the hill when the sounds of rifles and screaming men were heard. "What the hell?!?!", Benjamin ran up to the top, and could see right there a full on battle. Without a second thought, Benjamin tossed rifles to some of the gang members, and pointed to trees near by. "Get to those quickly, be snipers and shoot down those confederates". The nodded and took off. Benjamin then spotted Charles at the front on his horse, leading the attack. "These guys came out of nowhere, they arrived an hour early. We were barely prepared", he said in a panicky tone, before turning to his troops, who had just finished reloading their muskets. they aimed them towards the Confeds. "FIRE!!!!". Benjamin watched as soldiers fired away. Charles then gave him the eye glass. "Also just so you know, Douglas is over there on the other side with the Confeds officers", "he's where??". "Just look through the eye glass" Charles said. Benjamin looked through it, and preached on the hill was Douglas, along with other officers. While looking he tried to see if there was a way to get to him.....but the only route he could find was....through the center. Benjamin groans...and looks again at the armies. The Union army has thinned the ranks of Confeds down, so getting through should be possible. "I'm gonna have to do a direct approach, there's no time". Charles gave him a confused look. "Okay I've heard a lot of stupid tactics before, but that may take the cake". Benjamin just tossed his cap at Charles and put on his hood. "Oh youll like this cake once I'm back". And Benjamin took one of the horses and road through the union army onto the field. The Confeds saw him and opened fire. Benjamin pushed the horse on the ground so it would not be shot, while he went down to the ground too, as the shots missed him. As they reloaded he continued darting across the field. Just as they had finished, they tried to fire at him again, however he ducked right behind one of the big rocks that's on the field. They missed and began reloading once more. Benjamin took this chance and charged at them, just as they had finished, Benjamin jumped into the group,and began Attacking away, grabbing a musket and using it to his advantage, knocking down some of the troops, while the rest, dumbfounded by what they had witnessed, tried to aim at Benjamin, but just couldn't fire at him. Meanwhile the union army had stopped firing, as they watched Benjamin single handedly continue fighting his way through. He eventually drew out his tomahawk and his hidden blade, and began hacking away at the troops, while defending himself at the same time. Charles eventually stopped watching and ordered his men to keep fighting. Union soldiers stormed onto the field, and cannons fired at the confederate soldiers. Benjamin then disappeared into the smoke of cannon fire and musket fire.

Meanwhile, Douglas and one of the officers were now on the verge of retreating. "This battle is pretty much lost Doug. We have to turn around or we're gonna loose most if not all our men". Douglas gave the officer a stern look. "We retreat when I say we do". Before the officer could continue arguing, Benjamin charged in through the smoke, and shot his revolver at the officer, whom dropped to the ground. Before he could shoot Douglas, the Templar had gotten off his horse and kicked the revolver from his hand. Benjamin then drew his Sword out....breathing heavily as Douglas drew his sword out too. The two began dueling each other, though Benjamin had an advantage, since he had his swivel blade out, so fighting was better. Douglas, was having trouble, before finally falling down, feeling defeated. But just before Benjamin could finish him, another officer came out of no where and shoved Benjamin away from Douglas, which gave the Templar a chance to make a run for it. Benjamin quickly killed the officer and was about to kill Douglas....but he had disappeared. "God Dammit!!!" He shouts. It's then Benjamin heard someone shout "RETREAT!!!!". He went and hid in a bush, as Confed soldiers began running back. As soon as he was clear, he made his way back to the field. It was a massacre, soldiers left right and center were either dead or wounded, and he even found several gang members either dead or injured. He found Charles finally dismounting his horse, though badly wounded. "We did it lad, we won. This battle is ours". Benjamin just hung his head. "That's great sir, but I lost Douglas. Idk if I'll see him again.....". Charles thought about it for a second. "You know what we could do is attack his place where he bases everything. But I know an officer better for the job", "who?", "meet me tomorrow at the tavern and I'll tell you". Charles went off with some other officers, while Benjamin got some of his gang members back on their feet and headed back to the hideout.
