Description
Yeah, well it's the world ^^Edit: Didn't win :/
Countries:
The country-characters I used were inspired by the characters of *humon 's comic, "SatW".
I want you to try and guess which countries/regions/continents I used x]
...
Buuut, I guess I have to tell you anyway x]
I included Hawaii(I know it's actually a part of the US), Alaska/Greenland(Can't decide), North-America(USA, say), South-America(Brasil, mostly), The U.K., Norway(Because that's were I'm from :3), Italy, Africa(loosely), India, China/Japan, Russia and Australia.
Oh, and that little guy paddling around represent the poles.
I haven't given much thought to which countries I should've used, so don't get offended if you're country is missing.
Animals:
I included the polar bear, a tucan, a panda, a dolphin, a koala and an arctic fox. These animals are completely random as well x] (Except that I love arctic foxes :3)
Q:
-Why is "the worlds" eyes so red and scary-like?
A- That is because the eyes reflects what's inside us, and inside the world there is alot of magma :3

The exact same piece. I think it was on dA, but I also saw a similar thing on a poster in a school science lab.

I can assure you I didn't steal the idea from someone else The piece is to be found in other groups as well, maybe you've seen it there
And if someone printed it out and hung it up in a classroom, I am honoured ^^

Actually, I saw the poster a few years ago. It wasn't the same, it was with ordinary, non-country humans. Bu the other one could have been somewhere else on this site.

The world is so cute!
This could lead you to do many things inspired by songs. There's Michael Jackson's songs Heal the World and Earth's Song, Madonna's Love Makes the World Go Round [from Live Aid 1985] and even Tears for Fears' Everybody wants to rule the world.
Keep up the good job!

I love it!
The only thing I question is why you made Hawaii and Alaska as different countries if they're part of the US? Is it because they're not part of the normal 48? Most people don't view them as the normal states.
I could make a Sarah Palin joke now that I'm talking about not being normal and Alaska.

Well, the Alaska character is also representing Greenland, which is a part of Denmark, so I guess I shouldn't call them countries. They're more like regions. That goes for Hawaii as well.

I kind of guessed that with Alaska since you did mention he could also be Greenland. I was just thinking from the Alaska standpoint if you chose not to make it a mix.
