As the others have said, this is a very nice pic. I especially like the use of shading to depict light shining off a metallic frame. I also like the expressions shown here--particularly on Vexus and her king; there's something about them that just speaks to me.
As for the subject matter...I haven't seen A-Log's version of this pic, so I don't know. As far as I can tell, their ladybug daughter is suggesting an idea that the king seems intrigued by, while Vexus is lamenting that she's being out-voted on this...though the rather sorrowful expression seems to indicate that she has an unusually strong attachment to the king, and is worried that he's slipping further and further away from her.
Like DoctorMadwoman, I agree that she's about on the verge of tears...I almost feel sorry for her. But then, of course, I remember that she's a world-conquering tyrant, and my pity is tempered with caution.

Very nice work, Zack. I love how did this little moment of time. 'Tis a pity that this is my last request. Wish I can continue onward with trades, but I don't have the necessary requirements to do so, mainly a scanner and perfect art skills. But still, this is a great piece. Loving it always.

Well, if you're that curious I'll explain it to you without spoiling anything. I've noticed that on the show, we never see who Vexus' husband is: that's where I come in with my creation, Chrom. Trinako is the Madame Chancellor and is responsible for bringing Vexus to Cluster Prime. There are details in my lemon/adult fic in case you're interested in checking it out on my DA page as well. The pic up above is a little taste of another tale in Cluster Prime that I'm cooking up after the lemon. Hopefully as you've read it and the upcoming one as well, it'll all be clear with you.
