The Talons of Avarice.

Left to right: Acari, Aecia, Cavie, Erica, and Varia.

A group of Greed demons, acting as a private mercenary group serving under Calamadie -- or, they used to, before her untimely demise. Now, they seek to punish the ones responsible for their employer's passing; and avenge the loss of their annual paycheck.

Acari is the "leader" of the group. Her lust for money is on par with that of Tanya - who was actually the inspiration for Acari starting her so-called PMC, with Calamadie acting as their primary source of income. Rumors spread among lesser imps who believe that Acari's bust size is the result of her actually eating the gold she amassed over the years. A silly rumor that Acari finds quite irksome.

Aecia is Acari's younger sister, and her second in command. Unlike her sister, Aecia's true desire lies in her boyfriend, Derrick, whom she met during a contract job in Switzerland. Unfortunately, this "relationship" has caused trouble between her and Acari - mostly due to the fact that Aecia is constantly sleeping with her boyfriend on a daily basis. Nevertheless, Aecia is determined to not let her sister down; especially when they're on the job.

Cavie is the muscle of the group - for quite obvious reasons. Her father was from the circle of Wrath, and she got most of her training from blending in with the Amazon tribeswomen. Soon after meeting Acari, Cavie learned that she enjoyed something a bit more than just exercise: killing for money. And, she's damn good at it!

Erica is the "logistics manager" of the Talons. She handles the group's day-to-day transactions and paperwork; the likes of which Acari feels that she's "too good and busy for." But, somebody has to be keeping the lights on in their base of operations (AKA, Acari's house), and Erica's the one to put pens to all the papers. But, that doesn't mean she's any less skilled in a fight. Due to her love of "Irish fashion," her green clothes have caused Erica's peers to refer to her unkindly as a leprechaun.

Varia is the assassin of the group, and is known as the "bladed tip" of the Talons. She almost never talks (at all), and sees no reason to do so -- save for the rare occasion, when she needs to explain something to Acari, and nobody else is available with the knowledge to do so. Still, when payday rolls around, Varia always makes certain that she gets her fair share of the plunder.
