Description
This is my take on what Beshte would look like as a human. On the left I drew him as a kid, and on the right I drew him as a teenager. Beshte was the hardest of all the Lion Guard members to humanize. I think he turned out decent, but this is probably the Lion Guard humanization I’ve done that I’m least happy with. His face and hair as a kid were incredibly hard, because he just looked weird with just the little mohawk he has as his hippo self, so I had to fill in the rest of his head with hair, which made him look less like himself. Drawing him as a teenager was considerably easier, but still very difficult compared to the other four characters. I had fun with his clothes though! He probably isn’t as recognizable as the others due to all the extra modifications I had to make from his hippo form to human form (since hippos have the least human features out of the Guard), but hopefully you can still tell it’s Beshte.
