I LOVE that she's taller. Nobody ever does that with girls. It's kind of awesome. ^_^
I mean, why shouldn't she be taller than him? Or tougher than him, for that matter. It's not like he doesn't have a dozen things he's better at, too.

Haha actually I've noticed the opposite, it seems all the girls are taller in movies lately... xD Beans in Rango, Jesse in Toy Story 3, Astrid... the list goes on, seriously. xD;

Well, it's not a cliche until it's what everybody automatically thinks of, right? As long as it still raises peoples' eyebrows, it's not "normal" yet. It's just a recent, widespread movement in a new direction...
And it's one that I'm really liking. There are all kinds of unfortunate old-fashioned implications about power and dominance involved in the silly old height-ratio stereotype, and if modern media is moving away from them, I am 100% pleased about it.
(I'll bet short guys are, too. D'you know how hard it is for them to get dates?
