Well to start off this is a very nice piece. I love the lighting and the shadows. It gives it life. I also like the red for the highlights. The face it makes on the neck is really cool. I wouldn't mind seeing more of that. Also the the markings above the paws are really cool. It says something about the character. The fur is very good as well. I can fell that this character is twisted and something has happened to it. the look in his eyes and the face on his neck show this very well.
A problem I have with this are the red spots on the upper half of the picture. I am not really sure what those are.
Over all a nice piece. I feel like something else could be done with the black part of the picture.
