Once upon a time, in the magical land of Paradox Space, there were two regal cherubs who ruled together, and created harmony for all the land. To do this, the female used her cherub powers to change the mass and velocity of things; the male traveled trough time to establish bonds. Thus, the two cherubs maintained balance for their kingdom and their subjects, all the different types. But as time went on, the male cherub became resentful. The ponies relished and enjoyed the change of velocity of space his counterpart brought forth, but forgot the meaning of time. One fateful day, the male cherub refused to fulfill his part of harmony. The female cherub tried to reason with him, but the bitterness in the male cherub's heart had transformed him into a near-invincible Lord of Time: Lord English.
He vowed that he would shroud the land in his barren style of ruling. Reluctantly, the female cherub harnessed the most powerful magic known to cherubdom: She became a god tier. Using her new powers as the Muse of Space, she defeated her male counterpart, and banished him for thousand years to a moon near Alternia, and harmony has always been maintained since. Once the thousand years are over, eight heroes will stand up to defeat Lord English.
