Nice pic, this is one of the LC-130s or Ski Birds from Stratton ANGB. Also I've noticed it has the JATOs (jet assisted take off) on the sides. Pretty soon Ill be in this unit and I hope to work on em'. It's a great plane and only Stratton has them in the entire world. I love this picture beause this was the Herc I flew on for Civil Air Patrol.

Thanks, I believe this Herc is one of the ones they take to Antarctica. and yeah I did notice the JATOs, I am a fairly big aviation fan. I have sat in the cockpit of a A-10 Warthog, been inside a C-5 Galaxy cargo bay, been inside the Movie version of the "Memphis Belle", Ect.... lol. I used to work flight line for the Wings of Eagles Airshows as a kid, I got to do a lot of cool things.

not sure. all that i know is that its known as one of the Ski-Birds. you can find out more info on the airshow that i go on this website if you want www.1941hag.org They have a really good Promotional video. and at the end there are some okish videos from last years airshow in the links. AKA its from youtube...

It's okay. I'm just jealous of newer versions of Hercules', because we still have the C-130 BZ here...
