It's been a while since we last saw Annabelle, and she wasn't feeling to good then, thankfully it appears she's gotten better since - in fact she's starting to feel a lot more like her old self again.

Annabelle's starting to get used to living as an amputee she's gotten more confident with her crutches and wheelchair and after a home visit showing her how Annabelle has learned how to clean and redress her stump by herself - though she still isn't quite used to referring to her new leg as a "stump", it feels a bit crass to her mind.

That said it's really the little things that Annabelle's been having the most trouble with, like stairs or using the shower for instance. She can't remember how many mornings she's woken up and sleepily tried to put a slipper on a foot that's not there anymore, or how many times she's almost fallen over simply because she unknowingly shifted her weight onto a leg that's no longer there to support it, there have been a few close calls but fortunately that's all they've been.

It'll be a while before this becomes Annabelle's new normal but she's getting there, one step at a time.
