Description from the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston

no toning done on this, that color is the affect of low wattage incandescent light on cheap kodak film. plus the floor here was reddish wood.

love that composition man, thirds, they're awesome

the corners are slightly burnt too, the curve of the horizon (as it were) is pleasing, even the pictures fit together. the orange cast gives it unity and warmth, works better than black and white would too i feel, that'd be quite dull for a flat on composition like this.

this ones perfect

my hands are awful, yet I still don't have a tripod. I need lessons in zen or something to help me, maybe breathing exercises...

maybe cutting back on the alcoholism lol

It can take hundreds of photos before getting ones that we think come out "good". I've messed up sooo many rolls of film!- But keep on trying. The quality won't always "suck"; this one came out
came out great, sunny colors- you must like it a lot too. so all the wasted rolls aren't in vain if you get a few really nice pics from it.

back when i had access to a darkroom i splurged on decent b/w film but now i that i just get the film scanned at cvs i say fuck it the quality is gonna suck no matter what i do. sometimes it works to my advantage though.

the middle picture is crooked

Love that deep red mediocre color, its like the film wasn't good enough to capture the luxury that is old and stale work matted to the wall.

Composition here is magic, intrusive and loud.

Excellent.
