I kept threatening to draw a picture of my favorite Transformer, and here he is.
Hound in his happy place, folks...I'd even go as far as to call it his natural habitat. XD What mech would find basking in the mud after a long trail drive, preferable to the sterility of Cybertron?
Nature Boy, that's who. *pats Hound on the head*

I'm so glad you popped by my page, because I committed a crime by not commenting on this. I LOVE this! The look on his face, his pose, and the way you did the mud are just amazing. He just radiates happiness. It's so very Hound. The way the tire treads lead up to where he transformed is really a great detail. How did you do the tracks so perfectly?

Thank you! The tire treads were fun to do, and actually was fairly simple. I looked around the internet for different tire tread patterns, and when I found one I liked, I used a program called "Knockout," which can transfer whatever picture/pattern I need, and then use it close-by as a handy reference while I paint. Trust me, if you look close enough, they're not very perfect. XD Then again, I worked with a huge zoom on this, so I think it did help with the level of detail a bit.
If I remember correctly, I think there are 3 or 4 layers of paint used on the tracks, which I then merged into one layer, and created a reduced opacity on it to make it blend in a little more naturally with the rest of the mud. Heh, mud makes it easy for me to be messy and not have to be quite so accurate in my brushstrokes; I've always been told that I'm better at impressionism than realism. XD

Yes! Hound needs lots more love! I'm going to be doing at least a couple projects in the future, involving Nature Boy, and I can't wait. :3 Hahahah, draw Hound with a llama!

Yeah, Hound's such a sweet little puddin', it just seemed that a grin like that would be very much at home on his face a lot of the time. XD He doesn't strike me as a 'bot that holds back when he's having a good time. :3

Great job on the background. The mud has a great goopy, wet look. I love the detail on his tires. It looks like Hound will be tracking mud through Teletraan I for a long time. I really want to see him go share his muddy-goodness with the other Autobots... especially Sunny
