Description
Someone once asked me if I noticed that Sess is never without his fluff in either the series or the anime. I thought about it, and decided that it must be because when they were kids, InuYasha used to steal it and mess with it. "Improving" it, I'm sure he thought he was doing. ^_~Now, I'm pretty sure that Sess was already fully-grown when IY was born, but for now, we'll just pretend that they were kids together, for the sake of this comic. *grin*
Inspired by 's wonderful "Sibling Rivalry" series...man that woman has SERIOUS talent. Go ogle at her greatness.
Mokomokosama + playballs + chopsticks + green paint = Entertainment.

hehe, I actually used to wonder the same thing, and it turns out the fluff is actually his tail (like you see when he turns into his full demon form). XD I like this explanation much better though!

I've heard both sides claiming on whether or not it's a tail. Some say Takahashi said it's a tail, some say she said it wasn't, and that she really didn't know what it was, other than its name was "Mokomoko-sama." XD
Personally, I don't go for it being a tail, for the main reasons that not only is it not connected to his rear end, it's also a completely different color and texture than his hair as a demon dog. *shrug* Perhaps it's more of a representation that just transforms with him. Dunno, but I digress. ^^
Either way, I've seen wonderful representations of both, and for the sake of this comic, I'm going to say it's more of a pelt/accessory, and not a tail. ^^

*dies laughing* I love this! It's hilarious! I love how he drools in his sleep and has those sleepy eyes with wrinkles under them when he wakes up, but then it turns into that terrified muppet stare. That's a great explanation about why Sess always has the fluff and doesn't get along with InuYasha. But I think it's just sibling rivalry, because a lot of things in the series and movies lead me to believe that they don't actually hate each other. I have two older brothers, and we always used to fight, but now that they have their own families, I miss them, so I know how that love/hate sibling rivalry can be. Sessh does make a prettty hilarious look in the third InuYasha movie. I think that's the only time I ever saw him open mouthed and wide eyed in suprise. It was priceless but not as priceless as this pic. I also like your avatar.

Heh, the idea just came to me one night, and I thought that it would be very appropriate for a young InuYasha to prank his older brother. XD I realize Sess was already fully-grown when IY was little, but I thought, "Eh, what the heck." XD
Heee...I haven't seen the third movie, but I hear it's pretty good. ^^

Thanks for the compliment on my eye for detail, and you're welcome for the comment. That's okay that Sessh was older when InuYasha was born and you show them both young, because fanart can alter the characters and things, that's what makes it so funny, how out of character it seems. The third movie is good. I think it's called Swords of an Honorable Ruler, and Sessh gets a lot of screen time, for once.
